Meet Our P.7 Class of 2025

This year, 34 candidates proudly sat for their Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) at Okere Community School - the biggest group in the school’s history. Each of them carries a dream, a story, and the hope of a brighter future, built on years of learning, friendship, and community support.

From future doctors, teachers, and journalists to soldiers, bishops, and leaders, these pupils reflect the true spirit of Okere - resilience, discipline, and determination. Their time at school has been filled with more than lessons and exams. They’ve grown through sports, music, agriculture, and teamwork, learning that education is not just about books, but about building character and purpose.

As they close this chapter and prepare to step into a new one, we celebrate their efforts, their dreams, and the unwavering support of their teachers, parents, and the Okere community.


  1. Jason Makavelli Ojok-Okello

Thirteen year old Jason Ojok Okello from Okere village loves English and Mathematics. He enjoys playing football and admires his teachers for guiding students on good behavior. Jason dreams of becoming a space engineer and an artist. Inspired by his parents and Cristiano Ronaldo, he encourages children to go to school and work hard and parents to support their education.









  1. Cinderella Auma

Cinderella Auma, 18, loves English, music, dance and drama. She admires the discipline at Okere Community School and dreams of becoming a journalist in order to keep people informed. Guided by her teachers’ advice, she encourages children to attend school and parents to pay school fees.

Rebecca Auma, 17, enjoys learning English and playing football. She values the school’s clean and welcoming environment and dreams of becoming a doctor to save lives. Inspired by her teachers, she urges children to respect their parents and parents to support their children

Daniel Okello, 17,  from Amukogungu village loves the quiet school environment and playing games. He hopes to become a teacher to educate young learners and is inspired by his class teacher and parents. He encourages children to work hard and parents to pay school fees.










  1. Dorish Akello

Dorish Akello, 16, loves Mathematics and participating in music, dance and drama activities. She admires the humility of the school director and efforts in ensuring every child studies. Akello dreams of becoming an accountant. Inspired by her parents and teachers, she encourages children to respect their parents and parents to support their schooling.





  1. Daniel Omara

Coming from Kotomor, Daniel Omara, 16, loves Social Studies and Science. He enjoys playing football. Looking ahead, Omara dreams of being a driver in order to safely deliver goods across countries. Motivated by his parents and teachers, he encourages children to study, respect their parents and parents to pay school fees.










 7. Harriet Awor

Seventeen year old Harriet Awor, from Adwari Town Council loves learning Science and participating in music, dance and drama activities. She appreciates how the teachers encourage hard work and dreams of becoming a nurse. Having been inspired by her class teacher, she urges children to study diligently and parents to support their education.








  1.  Geoffrey Okello

Geoffrey Okello, 17, from Abia sub county in Alebtong district excels in Mathematics and Science. He values his teachers because they guide them on proper behavior and dreams of becoming a doctor in order to provide safe and timely healthcare services to mothers and children hence reducing on the infant mortality rate. Motivated by his class teacher, he encourages children to attend school and parents to pay school fees.







  1. Flavia Amuge

Flavia Amuge, 17, loves learning English. She appreciates the guidance of her teachers and bursary scheme which has enabled some of them to study. With a passion for debating, Amuge hopes to become a teacher in order to guide the future generation. Inspired by her class teacher to study hard, she encourages other children to attend school and parents to support their them.





  1. Irene Ejang

Irene Ejang, 15, from Abaryao vilage, loves the beauty of Okere community school. Science is her best subject and she also loves and participates in music, dance and drama activities. Ejang dreams of becoming a doctor to treat sick people. Motivated by her parents and teachers, she encourages children to respect elders and parents to support schooling.






 


  1.  Isaac Okeng

Just like others, Isaac Okeng, 15, is also moved by the humility of his school director and unwavering support towards the well-being of the people of Okere and beyond. With the hope of reducing the infant mortality rate, Okeng dreams of becoming a doctor. His favorite subject is Science and also enjoys participating in music, dance and drama activities. He encourages children to respect elders and parents to support their education.




  1. Rachel Lucky Adongo

Racheal Lucky Adongo, is 16-year-old pupil from Baryao village. Her favorite subject is English, and she enjoys the school’s culture of good performance and teamwork among peers. Adongo is also the head prefect. She is passionate about debating, where she learns to express herself confidently. She dreams of becoming like the school director, a person she admires for helping others; especially by supporting children’s education. Inspired by her teachers’ advice to work hard, Adongo stays focused on her studies. Her message to fellow pupils is to respect their parents and she urges parents to pay school fees on time to keep their children in school.


  1. Ivan Otole

Ivan Otole, 16, loves learning in the school’s clean and green environment, which he describes as “evergreen.” His favorite subject is Science, and he enjoys spending time outdoors, especially during sports activities. He is passionate about football and dreams of becoming a driver one day because he loves traveling and discovering new places. Inspired by his teachers, he strives to work hard in school. His message to his peers is to stay focused, and he reminds parents to pay school fees on time to support their children’s education.

 


  1. Miriam Angwec

Miriam Angwech, a 17-year-old pupil from Ayiloi village, takes pride in studying at Okere Community School. Her favorite subject is English and she loves the school’s clean and welcoming environment. She enjoys playing volleyball and participating in school activities that build teamwork and confidence. Her dream is to become a doctor, inspired by a desire to reduce infant mortality rate in her community. Motivated by her parents and teachers, she works hard in class. Her message to fellow pupils is to stay in school and to parents - to keep supporting their children’s education.

 

  1. Joshua Awich

Joshua Awich is a 17-year-old pupil from Acandyang village. Awich takes pride in studying at Okere Community School because of its “evergreen” environment. His favorite subject is Science and Social Studies and enjoys playing football. He dreams of becoming a doctor. Guided by the encouragement of his parents and teachers, he continues to work hard and advises his fellow pupils to stay in school, while reminding parents to support their children’s education.


 


 


 

 16. Sahifa Aceng

Sahifa Aceng, 17, from Amukugungu village enjoys studying English and appreciates the strong cooperation among teachers, pupils and parents. She loves taking part in agricultural activities, especially planting rice in the school garden, which teaches teamwork and practical skills. Aceng dreams of becoming a doctor, driven by her desire to improve the health sector in her community. Motivated by her parents and teachers, she works hard to achieve her goals. Her message to fellow pupils is to stay focused in class.


 


 


  17. Ronald Osege

Ronald Osege, 17, loves Science and enjoys hands-on learning. Osege, who is the class monitor of his class takes pride in the school’s agricultural projects, especially poultry keeping. Ronald dreams of becoming both a mechanic and driver, inspired by his desire to repair vehicles, reduce road accidents, and help address global warming. Guided by his class teacher’s constant encouragement to study hard and respect others, Ronald remains focused on his goals. His message to fellow pupils is to respect their parents, and to parents; to pay school fees early so children can stay in school.

 

 18. Jacob Okech

Jacob Okech is a 17-year-old from Ayiloi B village, loves Social Studies and enjoys studying in Okere Community School’s evergreen environment. He’s passionate about games and sports, where he builds teamwork and discipline. Jacob dreams of becoming a soldier, driven by the desire to protect and defend others. Inspired by his teachers, he works hard and encourages his peers to respect their parents, while reminding parents to pay school fees on time.


 

 


 


 19. Joshua ApodI

Joshua Apodi, aged 14, finds joy in studying Science and appreciates the good behavior and love that define the Okere Community School family. He dreams of becoming a doctor so he can treat the sick and serve his community. Motivated by his teachers and parents, Joshua studies diligently and advises other children to attend school regularly while urging parents to support their education through timely fee payments.


 

 

  1. Joshua Awany

Joshua Awany, an 18-year-old  from Orum Sub County is the school’s student spiritual leader. He is passionate about Mathematics. He enjoys planting trees and playing football, both of which strengthen his love for nature and teamwork. Joshua dreams of becoming a bishop, inspired by his faith and the desire to preach the word of God. Guided by his teachers and parents, he works hard and encourages his peers to embrace education, while calling on parents to prioritize school fees.

Joshua Odongo, 18, from Apako Village, loves Science and appreciates the clean and quiet environment at Okere Community School. A passionate football player, he dreams of becoming a journalist to inform, educate, and entertain others. His curiosity and love for learning inspire his efforts in class. Joshua advises his peers to work hard and urges parents to pay school fees promptly and care for their children’s well-being.


 


  1. Joy Aceng

Joy Aceng, a 16-year-old from Okwor Village, enjoys Social Studies and admires the director’s dedication to the well-being of the community. She loves playing football and dreams of becoming a doctor to care for the sick. Joy is inspired by the guidance of her teachers and parents. She encourages children to work hard and urges parents to pay fees regularly to avoid disrupting their education.

Juliet Akullu, 17, from Okoore Village, is passionate about English and Science. She deeply admires the school director’s kindness and willingness to help others. Juliet loves playing football and dreams of becoming a doctor to improve healthcare in her community. She believes education is the key to building a better future and reminds parents to pay school fees so children can grow into people of influence.

Lucky Sarah Aceng, 16, from Kot Omor, loves English and enjoys Okere Community School’s quiet and cool environment. She actively participates in music, dance, and drama, which allow her to express creativity and confidence. Lucky dreams of becoming a nurse to contribute to the improvement of health services in her community. Inspired by her parents and teachers, she encourages her peers to stay in school and work hard, and urges parents to guide and support their children through timely fee payment.
