To develop political leadership and grassroots civil engagement in Okere, we partner with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, a German political foundation to implement a political leadership advancement project targeting locally elected councilors of Okere Parish.

WORKSHOP REPORT DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE LOCAL COUNCILORS

In Aug 2021, we partnered with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung to organize a two-day workshop whose objective was to enable LC1 councilors and their committees to gain deeper insights and knowledge on how to become more effective as local leaders.

Because LC1 Units are important for ensuring effective local governance, we are partnering with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung to implement a political leadership project to empower local councilors to be better skilled and more knowledgeable to enable them to deliver on their roles and responsibilities as duty bearers.

In April 2021, we held our inaugural training workshop with 20 Local Council 1 (LC1) Chairperson from Okere Parish in partnership with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung.
